   Just wondering if you have to be 21, 23 or 25 now to rent a car in Atlanta or the middle Georgia region.

   This isn't a state issue, it's the policy of the car rental company. You'll have to check with them to find out their policies. Some won't rent to anyone under 25, others will rent but charge an extra fee for under 25. Some will rent to 21+ without a problem or fee. com and search for car rentals for the time you will be there and you should be able to find the information there.

   I am going to Atlanta for a weekend, and will be staying at Downtown area. Should I need to rent a car to visit tourist attraction, or just get around the area.

   Not hard to find parking in the city. on average depending where you go parking will cost you between $5-$10. . Renting a car is probably your best bet if you want to do things outside of the downtown area. MARTA (the bus/train system) is not very efficient once you go outside of the city limits or I- 285. . Have fun.

   Could anyone please tell me where i can rent a car for cheap. i live in atlanta and i am under 25. i would really prefer to rent with cash but if i need a card to hold the reservation, i have one.

   Rental companies will only rent to those 25 years of age or above. My son wanted to rent a car while his car was in the shop and they wouldn't let him because of his age. (20) Maybe someone could rent it for you, but they would be responsible if there were damages.

   public transportation is nasty and your contained to where the subway is taking you which is in tunnels or where the bus is taking you which is not the scenic route i can tell you that.

   contact Enterprise Rental or Alamo (or who ever you want to use) Most likely you will be able to get the car at the airport and return it to the airport in Maryland. Be prepared for extra charges for taking the car out of state. Most of the major companies satalite offices will not let you take the car out of state, only the ones at the airport.

   Any other rental car companies around that will take a deposit instead in the atlanta area.

   idk man I believe you need a credit card everywhere and plus you have to be 25 years of age not just 21 to rent a car so your pretty much out of luck but try looking in the phone book and start calling all of them to be sure
