Tennessee Highway Patrol announces 2011 Trooper of the Year - Clarksville Online

    add 25 minutes from the airport. There is a shuttle that goes from memphis to the little rock airport if that is where you are going. Its cheaper to fly out of little rock than memphis so many people drive there or take the "bette bus" shuttle when going on trips. It is interstate all of the way but not good interstate.

    I am planning a Spring Break trip to Memphis. Do I need to rent a car or is it not worth it?
    So what else would I need to rent a car for. Are there attractions that I can use taxis for if necessary or is it just better to rent a car. I forgot to mention I am taking the Amtrak there. I just wanted to know about getting around town.

    ANYONE under 25 has a VERY VERY hard time renting a car. IF they let you, there will be ALL SORTS of extra fees and fines for the age gap. Get someone else to rent it for you. That will save you HUNDREDS of dollars.

    Yes, you can do this, but you need to reserve the car that way. Some rental companies have drop-off fees, where some do not. Call the major companies to compare prices. Some even offer incentives to do one-ways this time of year to move the cars out of Florida.

    I'm going to Memphis alone and don't have a credit card (only debit) and most places only accept credit cards. I also don't have too good credit, (Do they check your credit. Oh, I'm also under 25 so it is harder to rent a car.
